Trade shows are a tool to speak one on one with the investors, analysts, brokers, investment bankers and other financial professionals in attendance. It’s another tool to discuss the merits of investing in client companies and to obtain exposure with the right audience.
If available, a company can send an executive to help us communicate with those who stop by the booth. Most shows also offer the option a company to do a presentation in a meeting room. They provide an effective tool to get new people watching the company and get the ticker on more trading screens.

Reuters - Regulators probing the stock market "flash crash" last May still have not uncovered a single cause but will point to "stub quotes" and other previously identified issues as having exacerbated the market's dramatic drop, according to two sources familiar with the probe. |
