One Florida specialized private equity lender is poised for significant growth in the post Covid economy. Orlando based Legion Capital Corporation is a FinTech enabled specialized lender that finances early-stage business and real estate ventures under a unique and compelling private equity lending model.

Legion provides acquisition, bridge, development and growth capital to real estate developers and other small business owners – filling a large void in the commercial finance space left unserved by banks and traditional lenders.

Legion has become a market leader in what most experts say is one of the top real estate and housing markets in the United States – Central Florida. As if Orlando did not have enough organic growth already, with over 1,500 new residents moving into the area every week, the Great Florida Migration due to the Covid pandemic is resulting in even greater growth and of course, a continuous demand for new housing. Read what the experts are saying:

Yes, the Orlando housing market is on fire, with no apparent end in sight. And who is poised to cash in from all of this growth?

Companies like Legion Capital that provide critical development and growth capital that banks will not provide. Legion deploys a clever two-pronged approach to its financing:

  • it secures its capital with liens or first mortgages on underlying collateral such as development real estate; and
  • it creates upside revenue and profit opportunity from various forms of equity ownership in the project or business.

This unique combination of private equity and specialized lending has fueled the strong growth of Legion’s loan portfolio over the past several years, and with a pipeline of solid opportunities on tap, Legion Capital is poised to continue its impressive growth in the months and years to come.
